I didn't believe when my best friend told me she still had that drawing. Yes, I drew Nergal for her, it was in high school, as we've established. Her boyfriend upon seeing this masterpiece asked why is he holding sugar cubes in his hand. That moment when you want to draw someone summoning evil spirits and instead it looks like he's feeding ponies in a pet zoo. Sigh. Anyway, the man aged better than my drawing, that's for sure. One more thing I wanted to mention, I strongly recommend carbon pencils Conte a Paris, not because they pay me in carbon and exposure (they don't) but because these are the darkest, blackest bastards I can find in Poland, which, coincidentally, fits my model just right.
